I was on my way to a weekend routine trip to Kabankalan City. After finding myself riding in the bus, I realized that I have nothing extraordinary to do. Aside from visiting MyCube Internet and Gaming Café, I decided to stroll along the city simply to find my own adventure.
I rode the tricycle and was brought about by the thought of visiting Zaycoland, a Hotel Resort in the heart of Kabankalan city.

Kabankalan City

Located at the Southern part of Negros Occidental was considered a first class city. Because of its development and on going progress the city is now one of the top listed cities in Negros.
In the early years, it was once a barrio of Ilog, a nearby town of the city today. But on March 14, 1907, due to the passing of the Act 1612 by the Philippine Commissions, it was separated and became a Municipality. Kabankalan City Hall

Kabankalan city hall viewed from afar perhaps one of the biggest city hall in the province. It is surrounded by sugar cane fields and a perfect scene on a castle like structure.
Kabankalan is 100 kilometers from the capital city of Negros Island which is Bacolod. Transportation is great you can get to this place via a Ceres bus or by a double-tire jeepneys.
Kabankalan City is also known for its festival the Sinulog. The celebration takes place every January where the folks give offerings to the baby Jesus or well known as the Sto. Nino.
Kabankalan is also one of the progressive cities in Negros Occidental. The contract signing for construction of the airport is one of the latest progress of the city.
