Waking up one morning and seeing the sky to be gloomy made me realize, soon summer will be over. The month of June has set in and again everyone will be busy preparing for school and getting ready for the rainy days.

However, I come to realize why not go and relax a bit with friends and family before indulging myself to another busy schedule? And so, I found myself wandering around the city ending up at a unique getaway in “The Caribbean”.

Who would imagine a place just at the heart of Bacolod, where you can swim, chill and at the same time cool down from a busy week? The Caribbean offers a wide range of amenities where kids and adults alike can enjoy all together.

The place was designed in a way where children could imagine adventure with the pirates in the sea. Upon entering the place, you will be greeted with three pirates, finally setting in to your imagination.

Seeing the pool will make you drool as a sunken ship near the lighthouse can make you think there are hidden treasures somewhere. And of course, the newly develop area where you’ll be taken under the sea through the magical powers of King Traiton overcoming the blastful evil tricks of Ursula. It seems like you’re in a place so magical that you are captured through an extraordinary spell.

You can held your kid’s parties and family reunions within the Caribbean. They offer birthday packages and treatsĀ  for your added fun. The Caribbean has cottages and rooms all at an affordable price. There are overnight cabins which may house the whole family. It offers day cabins that also house groups but for day use only. You can chill and relax while bathing under the sun.

The entrance fee of Php100 is all worth it. You can go swimming for free. You need not worry about food or drinks as they have a mini canteen within the area. Although you can bring outside food, sea shells are not allowed. There’s a corkage for beverages and alcoholic drinks so better not bring one inside.

So why not try catching a dip at the Caribbean and see what surprises you from there? Anyway, its a good way to end the summer…
