Use Paypal to purchase online securely.

Hi fellow negrense, I wanna share something with you today. This is not really a new thing but for those who still dont know this.. read on. this is very useful especially this holiday season.

A Couple of years ago, PayPal a leader in online payment  with over 193 million accounts worldwide and mostly supported
by e-commerce site open its doors to Filipino people. It was a good news for pinoys who loves to buy online. It made an
impact but only to those who really understand how paypal works.

I will explain here the basic and how will it benefit you.

Paypal is the world’s popular middleman service. You can receive and send money from friends or family via email.

Here is how it works.

Example your friend in US wants to send you money to treat you for 2 cups of coffee at starbucks. Your friend will log in on his
paypal account asks you for your email address type in the amount and presses send and viola! you receive an email confirming
that your friend deposited x dollars. You go to the atm machine and withdraws the money or if you are too lazy to stretch those legs
then you go to starbucks website select your order and pay the items using your paypal.

Easy and Convenient.
Its very convenient because you can see the transaction details in no time right in front of your pc.

Secure.
A secure way to transfer money because you dont have to expose any card and account information to anybody.

Now, How do I open a paypal account?

There are only six easy steps to open a paypal account.

First all you have to do is visit the Paypal website and click the “Sign Up” link located at the top-right portion of the page.

Then, choose the paypal account type applicable to you. This is done by selecting the Country or Region you live in. It will open a page that shows three paypal account types: Personal Account, Premier Account and Business Account.

Unless you are sure you want and need a premier or Business Account, i suggest that you choose a Personal Account than upgrade to another account type after. But you cannot revert to personal account once you have upgraded.

After which, confirm your language preference and then click the Continue button.

Make sure that you completely and correctly fill in the sections “PayPal Account Owner Contact Information”, “PayPal Account Login”, “Password Recovery”m and “Security Measures” then click the Sign Up button at the buttom.

Then you are now asked to verify your account by adding a credit or debit card. You may choose to add one or skip the step by clicking “Cancel”. Remember however, that adding a card and enrolling in the Verification Program is necessary to withdraw PayPal funds.

In order to complete the registration, confirm your email address. Do this by checking your inbox for a PayPal email then click the confirmation link there. Or you may choose to confirm your email address later by clicking “Continue” in this page.

Congratulations! You now have your own PayPal account. The Personal Account Overview page will contain your name, email address and account status.

Let’s say I want to add a credit card to my paypal account. How do I do it?

For you to be able to add a credit card to your PayPal account, First click the My Account tab. Click the Profile subtab and click the Credit Cards link in the Financial Information column. Click Add. Fill out the Add Credit Card form and Click Add Credit Card. And by doing this, you have successfully added your credit card to your PayPal account.
