Black out schedules this Sunday
The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. will conduct preventive maintenance of rotten primary poles along Hilado and Narra streets, Shopping Center, Bacolod City , and line clearing activities from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, a CENECO press release said.
Affected by this power interruption are areas from Gonzaga (Substation – Lopez-Jaena Street), Lopez-Jaena Street ( Gonzaga Street to Lopez-Jaena Street to Ceres Terminal North Drive ), Galo Street (Lopez-Jaena – Mabini Streets), and the Capitol Shopping Center .
A portion of 6th Street, Narra Street (Lopez-Jaena Street – Hervias and Lopez-Jaena streets before the Negros Navigation Building) West Negros University, Circle Inn, Malaspina Street (Lopez-Jaena Street – North Drive), and North Drive (Malaspina Street – Narra Avenue) will also experience blackouts.
Also affected are the La Salle Subdivision, Narra Avenue (from 6th Street to Hervias Subdivision), portion of 6th Street , Hilado Street to North Drive , Malaspina Street ( Hilado Street to WNU), WNU Gym, Tindalo St, and North Drive (from Lopez Jaena Street to RM Gas Station).
Ylac Street (Caltex – C.L. Montelibano), St. Joseph High School, Villamonte, Chinese Temple, portion of BMMC (Burgos Entrance), Lopue’s East Building, Gonzaga Subdivision., Morata’s Photography, Burgos Street (from Circumferential Road to Lacson Street), Hilado Street (Burgos-Malaspina) (Asdes-Gonzaga Feeder 4) are included in the list of affected areas.
Member-consumers are advised to put off their electrical switches all throughout the duration of the said power interruption for safety reason, and to give allowance of about 10-15 minutes after power resumption, before putting on all electrical appliances and facilities, to avoid power surge.
Member-consumers are also advised to make the necessary preparations to avoid inconvenience during the said interruption.
