Trick or Treat Bacolod

It has been a tradition that every end of October people would wear costumes to go out in the streets and go trick or treating. This wasn’t really a practice here in Negros but as the years passed and people gets modernized, they have enjoyed the thought of trick or treating.

What is trick or treat anyway?

Trick-or-treat used to be just a custom for children on Halloween. Children would usually proceed in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candies, or sometimes money, with the question, “Trick or treat?” The “trick” is an idle threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given. But during these days, even the adults would a wear costumes and go out party with friends and include the idea of trick or treating, except they just eat and have fun.

This year, there will be a number of trick or treat ha lloween parties to be held. To name one, the event that will happen in Mushu.

Another one will be for kids at Robinsons place bacolod. Kids must come in their most extraordinary costumes to win prices. They will be strolling along the mall, going from store to store to go trick or treating. This will happen on October 30, 2009.
