Masskara 2009 Marks Its End

October 19, 2009 marks the end of this years Masskara celebration. The countdown happened in the New Government Center headed by the City Mayor, Hon. Bing Leonardia. There were bands and the usual festive moods of the Bacolodnons.

Masskara Festival 2009 has been a success. The Electric Masskara along Lacson St. has again put a big mark in the hearts of the Bacolodnons. It has invited everyone of all ages to go out arend party. The merry making and street dancing has tagged Bacolod to be the city filled with smiling faces. The Masskara Queen Pageant has crowned a deserving queen. The mask making contest has stripped the talents of the Bacolodnons and exposed an extraordinary masterpiece.

All is well and has ended well.

Masskara 209 was ended with a colorful fireworks display that lasted for 7 minutes and has marked the year’s celebration to be a simple yet a memorable one.
